Prof. Dr. Claudio Cilli, CIA, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP, CSSLP, graduated with honours at the University of Rome, is an University Teacher and a professional Information Security consultant. He achieved the Full Degree in Electronic Engineering in 1983. Additional training courses attended at many Italian and foreign institutions and companies, include: IBM Inc., University of California at Berkeley, ELEA, COMSIS (Silver Springs, MD).

He holds - first in Italy - the HCISPP (HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner) certification which qualify himself as a specialist in the security management and trasmission of healthcare data.

University professor and researcher. Lesson arguments include: computer science, software compilers, lexical and semantic analysers, information systems analysis and development. Member of the scientific and advisory boards. Teacher in the post-graduate masters in Computer Security and IT Governance.

Consultant at the Office of Internal Oversight Services at the United Nations (UN) in New York.

Responsible for IT Governance analysis and implementation using CobIT methodology for several firms. Responsibilities include: planning, organisational and data flow analysis, scheduling of audits, management reports, work paper preparation and review, software development, application control reviews, internal control reviews, system security reviews, staff development, microcomputer software development and systems implementation.

Responsible in many big firms, including Ernst & Young and KPMG, of IS Audit and security projects, both for civil and military sectors, quality, security of the information systems and installations. Designed and implemented systems based on mainframes and distributed architecture, including Disaster Recovery and both data and physical security, information and site protection.

Consultant - Senior level data processing professional with 15 years experience in computer security/audit and 22 years of Information System experience, systems design and programming, computer operations and applications programming. Designed EDP systems, including the computer, software, installation and user training. Consultant to American companies who supply the U.S. Department of Defence.

Authored and published in several specialised books and magazines. He is frequently invited as speaker in many international conferences and seminars.

President of The ISACA Rome (Italy) Chapter. Served the Standard Board at ISACA/F where he was Chair for three years and in the CISM Board.

Speaker in several Isaca Conferences. Speaker in AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Associations) Europe seminars.
